Dear Dr. Shah,

I want to thank you very much for trying to help me, and doing this surgery for me.

As you can see from the picture I am sending, I have come a long way. I know that you cannot work 'miracles' with the way that my body is, but it's so very important for me NOT to look like such a 'freak.' All my life I have fought this battle to be normal, and just to be able to wear a pair of shorts or a revealing night gown, or anyting sexy like most women do.

I hope you understand why I want to have this operation, and why I felt so let down the first time. I have been made fun of, laughed at, and put down so much. I just wanted to feel good about myself for once.

Anyway, I do have faith in you, and feel sure that this time everyting will be okay. I am looking forward to getting on with my life and new body.
